Conference Bursary Scheme

Our conference bursary scheme enables UK researchers to attend major international hearing research conferences.

The conferences we currently support are:

  • Association of Research in Otolaryngology (ARO) Midwinter Meeting
    Now open for applications. See details below.
  • Conference on Implantable Auditory Prostheses (CIAP)   
    Now closed for applications.
  • Molecular Biology of Hearing and Deafness Conference   
    Now closed for applications. 
  • International Hearing Aid research conference (IHCON)
    Now closed for applications

Please note: We cannot consider individual conference bursary applications for research conferences other than those listed above.

Association of Research in Otolaryngology (ARO) MidWinter Meeting, 2018

Applications are now invited for conference bursary awards for the ARO MidWinter meeting being held in San Diego, USA, 10-14 February 2018.

Purpose

To enable UK researchers at an early stage of their careers to take part in the ARO MidWinter meeting.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in any area of hearing research in the UK.

Value

Up to a maximum of £750.

Deadline: Thursday 31 August 2017

Funding decisions will be made by Tuesday 11 September. No late applications will be considered.

Selection Procedure

Preference will be given to applicants presenting a paper at the meeting. Please see our full ARO bursary guidelines below for further information on selection and prioritisation.
