For Deaf Awareness Week (6–12 May), and throughout May, we're selling two eye-catching T-shirts to help us raise awareness and vital funds to support the 11 million people living with hearing loss and deafness in the UK.
Our #DontBeADonut Be Deaf Aware campaign is turning the spotlight on the public's attitudes and behaviours towards people who are deaf or have hearing loss. We're encouraging people to share their stories of the often awkward – and sometimes ridiculous – misconceptions that the public have about hearing loss and deafness. Get yourself a #DontBeADonut T-shirt and help spread the word!
Freya Moses, who has hearing loss and tinnitus, has designed an eye-catching T-shirt that spells 'love' using the British Sign Language alphabet. She says: "I'm helping raise money for Action on Hearing Loss as a thank you for all of the support they have offered me, since getting hearing aids. You would be supporting an amazing cause."
You can buy these fundraising T-shirts for £14.99 each plus postage and packaging.
Please note, you'll be sent to a third party supplier webpage to buy your T-shirt.
