A volunteer helping an elderly lady with her NHS hearing aids at our Hear to Help hearing aid service in Salisbury.

Do you live in Salisbury and need help with your hearing aids?

If so, our Hear to Help service may be able to help you!

Funded by The Co-operative for 18 months, Hear to Help Salisbury was launched in September 2010 and is run by Action on Hearing Loss in partnership with Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. The project supports people who were fitted with NHS hearing aids at Salisbury District Hospital.

Our service is community based and our community support officer and volunteers provide the service through outreach work, home visits and drop-in services.

Our free service includes:

  • tubing, minor repairs, earmould cleaning and battery replacement
  • basic training for hearing aid users on maintenance and usage of their hearing aid
  • providing advice and support to enable people to make the most of their hearing aid
