Can the flashing light be turned off. This concerns me as I have eye problems and vertigo problems which could be activated by the flashing light

The Wake "N" Shake alarm clock has five alarm settings so it could be set to alarm and vibrating mode in which case the flashing strobe light will be turned off.

You can order a replacement vibrating pad for your Wake ' n ' Shake alarm clock by using the order code A177A. I hope this information helps.

The vibrator part of my alarm clock has broken. I have had this for two years. Do you sell the vibrator part separately or is there some way I could have this repaired?

A replacement vibrating pad is available using order code A177A.

What colour flashing light does it have to wake you up?

It has a bright white flashing light that flashes or you can set it up so you can also get the pad to vibrate as well.

Does the battery backup on all your mains powered alarm clocks enable the alarm to activate during a lpowercut?

No, the battery back up will just mean that you will not need to set the time again after a short power cut. The time will not be displayed during this time period as well as any alarm functions.

A very loud alarm. Good large time figures. I'll recommend to my friends.

Easy to install and set up. Only critisism is the clock numbers rather too glaringly large. The 'shake' is perfect for my problem.

Exactly what I wanted. Being deaf I don't have alarms. Now I can set the alarm confident it will wake me.

Another excellent product. If I could change anything it would be to make the clock dimmer (it's too bright on the dim switch).

This product was bought because when I go to bed I remove my hearing aids and can't hear anything. When my wife is at home there is no problem but if my wife is in hospital I cannot hear the phone or alarm. With this product I can now.

 Excellent product

Posted by Tania, WASHINGTON on 10 July 2012

Easy to set up and use. The volume for this alam can be turned up extremely loud and it has a klaxon-like tone which is very effective. I've even stopped using the alarm sound and use the vibration pad with light - being 'shaken' awake is actually a nicer way to be woken up than the shock of a large blaring alarm sound (I don't think the light on its own would be enough).

We had a fault on the first one. Replacement was sent by return and no problems as yet.

Easy to follow instructions to set up. Volume of ring light is effective for waking me up so far without the vibrating pad. Surprised all three can't be used at same time.

 The 'One'

Posted by Louise on 14 November 2011

I recently purchased this and after a week of using this, I am more than impressed. It effectively wakes me up no fail and easy to use with thanks to the simple manual. I would've liked the alamr to come in different colours as black seems dull but nonethless definitely worth purchasing this!

Superb product. This is my second purchase. My last one lasted for years (5?) until recently. For familiarity and reliability reasons I decided to stick with the same model.

All features very good and straight forward. When swapping from vibrating watch to this I didn't realise the display was this large! Could have been advised.

No other alarm clock woke my daughter up from sleep. The vibration is very powerful. She also liked the big display. She is very happy.

Vibration disc not violent enough to wake me and uncomfortable even under a pillow. Alarm tone and flashing light very effective.

Previous product from another supplier was not reliable. The new alarm clock is very reassuring and reliable which is obviously very essential.

This is excellent. The shaker is particularly useful. Thought at first that the numbers on the clock would be obtrusive, but fortunately this is not the case.

Very loud bell and very easy to read large clear display. But shaker pad proves to be more than adequate.

Excellent. It is the only alarm clock I can hear. However, since I am not also visually impaired I would have liked one with a smaller and much dimmer display.
