Product Description

This small, travel alarm clock can wake you by vibrating, an audible alarm and a flashing light.

This small, travel alarm clock can wake you by vibrating, it's alarm and a flashing light. When using the vibration alarm you pop it under your pillow so you can feel the vibration at the appropriate time.

Alternatively, it can be used with its stand and placed on your bedside table to wake you with the alarm/flashing light alert. You can also purchase the vibrating pad accessory (see accessories below) which means you don't have to put the clock under the pillow - the pad goes there instead.

Difficulty with setting the vibration only alarm

Posted by Zrinka on 25 February 2015

I have diffcuty with setting up the vibration only. I am totally fed up. Tired in the morning of worry of not being able to wake on on time. I am deaf. It worked firts time but then when I reset it again I got no vibration, The instructions says - use right side settings to set up alarm. i first switched to alarm time then locked it. then on left side i switched to vibration only. still not working. any tip? zrinka

 Fantastic vibrator alarm

Posted by Emma on 31 January 2013

Loved it! Very powerful vibrator and got 3 settings to choose how you like your alarm to be! I am a student myself and it is very useful for me to get up for college. :) Emma

It needs some button or something to stop the alarm on the outside case. An elderly person sometimes doesn't have the nimble fingers to operate it.

The travel clock is far too large for travel also the design of it I felt as though I had a brick under my pillow! It did work right either so for me. Very poor.

Sadly my shock awake packed up and this seems a good replacement.

The switches are too small and fiddly and settings too close together. The function symbols could be clearer too. Otherwise it is excellent.

 Good alarm, fiddly switches

Posted by Terry, HARROW on 26 October 2012

An excellent alarm function (bell/strobe/vibration) that would wake the dead, let alone the deaf. Two 'but's'; 1) the time setting buttons are big & easy but the function and alarm-set switches are small and awkwardly fiddly. 2) The instructions, yet again, haven't been written by someone while using the piece. There's no indication of WHY there the two switches - the 'bell' function position and symbol is the same as the 'set alarm' - one and you have to work them out by trial and error. It's also a nuisance to have to use these switches just to turn off an alarm setting to stop it going off every day.

Small and light, but the display is still big enough to read easily and there's a big button to operate the backlight so even when you're half asleep you'll have no trouble finding it.. Robust - I've knocked on the floor a few times and it remains undamaged and in full working order. It comes with a handy crocodile clip to secure it to ?? bed linen but this is too short to allow me to stand it on my bedside table so I'm afraid I don't use that aspect of it. It's very handy for taking on trips. I just drop it in my bag. It's very light. All in all would highly recommend.

Nice and compact but not too small. The choice of three alarm sounds is very good, but I find the flashing light and ringing just right.

 Tom's Review

Posted by Thomas, ABERDEEN on 14 November 2011

The Travel Tim is a very well designed product and is extremely easy to use. Setting the time, via hour and minute buttons on the top of Travel Tim is very simple. Setting alarm functions presents no difficulties. All in all an excellent purchase and performs well.
