does what it says on the tin

Posted by Philip on 01 February 2016

This has a lot of functionality, I admit I have only explored a little of it. I have quite severe tinnitus which after repeated trials of the different sounds is best managed with the radio. Unfortunately I often need to trigger it in the night and one issue is that if you have started a sound to encourage sleep the alarm does not work unless it is set to buzz. This was not a major problem for me as I do not need an alarm, but if you rely on this it might be. Also using the time signal to set the time would be handy, incase of any power cut or moving it. Don't get me wrong the benefits far outweigh the small niggles.

 Excellent facilities, one niggle

Posted by Ted, Yelverton on 01 December 2012

This equipment has a large range of options and facilities, thoroughly recommended, especially with pillow speakers. Can plug in an MP3 player. Turns itself off after a set time, if programmed to do so. One niggle - it has the first electronic clock I've seen in years that doesn't know which months only have 30 days. A nuisance to have to reprogram it!
