Everybody’s level of hearing is different, so products that may work wonderfully for others may not be right for you and you may need to try different products before you find the ideal solution.
Most of our products can be returned within 28 days, as long as they are in ‘as new’ condition and returned with their original packaging. Some products cannot be returned to us for hygiene reasons, these products will have a warning message in the product description. In addition, most products have a minimum warranty of one year, while some have two, three or even five year warranties.
Returning a product
If you need to return a product to us, you must do so no later than 28 days after the day it was delivered. You'll have to pay for the cost of postage and packing for the return, but we'll refund this cost if the product is being returned because it's damaged, faulty or incomplete. We cannot be held responsible for any product/s you return until we receive them. We recommend that you get proof of delivery from the postal service provider, or send the product using recorded delivery. All products returned must be sent to our returns address (Action on Hearing Loss, Bakewell Road, Peterborough, PE2 6XU). Please note that products returned using Royal Mail can take up to 14 days to reach us.
All returns must be sent with a completed Returns Form which will be included in the parcel alongside your order. Without this form, we may not be able to process your return.
Timing and refunding
We try our best to make sure that we process returns within 10 working days of receiving them. If you're entitled to a refund, we'll refund you within 14 days from the day after we received the products. We will email you to confirm when we despatch your products, if you haven't received your order within 14 days after this email, please tell us in writing and we’ll send you a refund. We'll refund you using the same method that you used for payment, unless we agree on using a different method in advance.
