The Geemarc oCean 400 is a loud, amplified phone with great features. Hearing aid compatible, it is suitable for people with up to severe hearing loss and for those with visual impairment.
The oCean 400’s loud ringer with volume control (up to 80dB) and incoming call light mean no more missed calls.
With a choice of 10 ringer melodies and the receiver’s volume control (up to 30dB) and four-level tone control, you can adjust to suit your hearing needs and follow every conversation clearly. This is particularly useful for people with age-related hearing loss.
There’ll be no more misdialling thanks to the large high-contrast, backlit keypad and LCD display with big characters and adjustable contrast. You can also double-check numbers before you dial – just enter in standby mode to hear them spoken back to you first.
It’s easy to get in touch with important contacts quickly with six one-touch memory buttons, – three of them photo buttons – and 10 two-touch buttons.
Should you find yourself in need of urgent assistance, just press the SOS button. It will dial five programmed personal contact numbers in turn, sending out your pre-recorded message, until someone responds.
When the message has been received, the oCean 400 will beep to let you know and automatically switch to speakerphone so that the person responding can assure you help is on the way.
This makes the Geemarc oCean 400 very suitable for elderly family members, friends and neighbours, and people who are vulnerable.
The hands-free speakerphone, with separate volume control, allows you to get on with everyday tasks as you chat with family and friends.
With Caller ID (service subscription required), incoming numbers are shown on the LCD screen. Talking caller ID (CID) announces numbers and the names of callers you’ve entered in the phone book.
