The Roger Pen reduces background noise and allows you to tune into different situations without having to change settings. Simply put the Roger Pen on a table to listen to a group of people, point it towards the person you want to hear or pass it to whoever is speaking. It can be used whether or not you wear hearing aids* and is suitable for up to severe hearing loss.
*Please note: The Roger Pen is a transmitter and needs a receiver to work. The Roger Pen can be used with miniature Roger X Receivers, which attach directly to a hearing aid shoe. You’ll need one shoe per hearing aid. These are sold separately - please call for details. The shoe allows you to connect the Roger X receiver(s) directly to your hearing aid or cochlear implant. Or you can purchase the Roger Pen and MyLink bundle and switch your hearing aids to the ‘loop ’ setting. Non-hearing aid wearers can connect headphones (sold separately) to the Roger Pen and MyLink neckloop to enjoy superb sound quality.
The Roger Pen is a discreet wireless microphone with exceptional sound quality and unique speech enhancement technology. It will transform your ability to hear again. In fact, you’ll understand up to 62% more in noise and over distance compared to people with no hearing loss.
It is ideal for one-to-one or group conversations; simply put the Roger Pen on a table to listen to a group of people, point it towards the person you want to hear or pass it to whoever is speaking. You can also use it to hear multiple speakers in a microphone network alongside other Roger Pens, Roger Clip-On Mics and Roger Table Mics.
As well as being an outstanding conversation listener, the Roger Pen also allows you to connect to Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and smartphones to amplify phone calls. The Roger Pen docking station is used to both recharge the microphone and transmit audio from a TV or other audio device (e.g. computer, MP3 player or hi-fi) to the Roger Pen and into your hearing aids, or headphones if don’t wear hearing aids. Alternatively, you can use the short micro-USB audio cable to connect your multimedia device directly to your Roger Pen.
