An extra receiver to use with your Contego so that two people can listen more clearly on the same system.
Having two receivers is particularly useful if you both have a different hearing loss but both want to hear more clearly. It's perfect for tour guides and group conversations.Key Benefits:
If you have a Contego system then this additional receiver can be used to enable more people to hear more clearly from the same system. This is useful for tour guides or presentations where one person is speaking to more than one person with a hearing loss.
Here's a little more about the Contego system:
You can use it for TV listening, conversations with friends, in a meeting or lecture, in the car or even while you are shopping.
Whoever is speaking wears the microphone (also called a transmitter), which wirelessly sends the sound to this receiver, worn by the person with a hearing loss.
You can be up to 25 metres away and still pick up the speaker's voice. People who have a hearing aid with a T setting can use the Contego with a neckloop (see accessories below), or headphones and earphones if you don't wear a hearing aid.
The Contego has many other very useful features. The receiver has its own built-in microphone, which allows you to not only hear the person with the microphone transmitter but also sounds closer to you. You could have the microphone transmitter picking up the television but still hear someone speaking to you nearby through the receiver microphone. You can easily adjust the sound from either microphone through volume controls on the receiver. The receiver's display shows the volume level, battery status and the selected channel.
This model is supplied with a neckloop for hearing aid users.
