Product Description

The BigTel 200 amplified hearing aid compatible phone packs superb performance with a budget price. Simply press two buttons to add extra handsets. It's the same phone as the BigTel 280 but just without the answer machine.

Do your friends and loved ones keep complaining that they can’t get hold of you? Do you keep missing calls because you simply cannot hear the phone? Or do you keep losing your handsets? The BigTel 200 Amplified Phone comes with a range of features and benefits to suit all types of hearing impairment.

Adjust the sound to suit your hearing loss

The tone control function on this amplified cordless telephone allows you to adjust the bass and treble of the caller’s voice. For example, if you find it difficult to hear people with a high pitched voice then you can use this feature to deepen their voice.

There’s also a boost button which provides even more amplification if you’re finding a particular call difficult to hear.

Cut out background noise

This cordless phone for the hearing impaired is hearing aid compatible so you can listen to the call directly through your hearing aid which blocks out unwanted background noise, making it much easier to hear the call. This is particularly helpful if your family tends to be a bit noisy while you’re on the phone.

You can see who’s calling you

The Caller ID function means you can see the number of the person calling you or even their name if you programme the number into the phonebook. You need to subscribe to Caller ID with your telephone line provider to use this service. This is extremely useful for avoiding unwanted calls like sales calls.

Keep your hands-free while you talk

The amplified hands-free function allows you to speak and hear without holding the handset, leaving your hands free to write or type making it the best loud cordless phone for the hearing impaired or those with severe hearing loss.

No more missed calls

This amplified phone for the hard of hearing has a loud ringer so you won’t miss any calls. Better yet, this saves you the cost of calling people back!

It seems much better for my hearing than the BT big button I have, but it is upstairs so not used very much. I am pleased with the volume and shall now look for an answerphone for downstairs as I have got a PowerTel 700 which is great.

I have always had BT phones from your company and been very satisfied as I've had hearing loss for 40 years. But the best phone is the BigTel 200 for high tone loss hearing. BT is also my favourite as I worked on those for 40 years.
