Product Description

Isn’t it annoying when you are in company and there is more than one person at a time talking?  Both sounds drown each other out and you can hear neither!

The Bellman Domino Pro Hearing Amplifier is just the ticket for these situations and is one of the most popular of our Assistive Listening Devices. It helps you to hear clearly, even at a distance and in noisy environments. There are lots of features including tone control, different microphone settings and you can even balance the sound between the transmitter and receiver, making it even easier to listen to two people at once.

The Bellman Domino Pro Hearing Amplifier is a Wireless Listening Device complete with neckloop and ear buds. This  allows you to hear sounds through the transmitter microphone and the receiver microphone, and balance the sound between them. This means you can clearly listen to someone far away and someone next to you at the same time, making it one of the best Hearing Amplification Devices on the market.

With our Sound Amplifiers for Hearing, you can even remotely control the settings on the transmitter with the receiver. You can also adjust the bass and treble and balance the sound between your left and right ears to suit your hearing loss making it the best Personal Hearing Amplifier.

This Personal Listening Device comes with a separate external microphone which, when plugged into the transmitter, can clip to clothing and can fasten next to a TV speaker. There is also a separate connection lead for use with your TV, stereo or MP3 player. Included in the pack is a travel case, a USB charger, four different adaptors for use all over the world, a lanyard and a beltclip. With all these accessories and features you certainly get a lot for your money!

This seems to be an isolated case and I am sure we would be able to overcome these minor problems by changing the frequency of the unit or even using surpressors on the source of the interference.

Hi, I suffer severe hearing loss and am considering purchasing a personal listener to help me in an open space office environment and large meetings. I am undecided between this product and the Contego. How does this product compare with the Contego (L320

The main difference between the Domino system and the Contego unit is that the Domino unit has omni-directional and uni-directional microphones in both the receiver and transmitter, thus allowing you to listen to someone far away and someone next to you at the same time. The battery recharging time is slightly better on the Domino as well.

 Good product but ...... (2)

Following up on my previous comment, I have been having issues with using the Domino Pro. It appears that the T loop setting in my hearing aids may not have been set properly. Trying to communicate with Bellman and Symfon has not been a rewarding experience. Their website suggests that they can be contacted through Skype, which is not the case. A response to an email to them suggested that I contact Action on Hearing in the UK as they are their UK supplier. (Action on Hearing has been superb!) Still giving the product 4 stars - for the level of customer service!

 Good product but .......

I have been using the Domino Pro for over a month. For me, it doesn't have that wow factor for such a premium-priced product. It's a nice product but it is fiddly to use and is not that loud in noisy environments. My hearing loss is mild to moderate and it helps a bit. Plugged into my hi-fi unit the sound quality is definitely NOT hi-fidelity so am not using it that way. Disappointing but then I had high expectations.

It has made a huge difference as I can now hear much clearer.

A quality listener but there are caveats

An exceclent piece of kit for those whose busines

I am severely visually impaired with the usual loss of the higher registers associated with age. I use two NHS Simenes M hearing aids which are great but still have difficulty in hearing in siutations in which there is background noise, kettles, taps running. pubs, cars etc. For obvious reasons I can not lip read. This is an excelent divice for anyone who needs to do a lot of networking and mixing in noisy siuations. I had already tried and purchassed a Sondeo before trying the Domino at the suggestion of my hearing therapist, (see my review of the sonedo I would still advise someone to try that first to see whether it is sufficient.) As firr the domino he directional microphone on both the transmitter and the receiver and the ability to use both the receiver and the transmitter simiultaneiously can make a real difference. The Tone control can be particularly useful in demanding situations I think the other reviewer may have been using aninduction loop as I do and the noise from his car engine like my wife's will be picked up by it. I did not find this put me off. If your business or social life means that you are very frequently in situations where background noise prevents you hearing what people are saying then you should really give this a try. If not then try something cheaper first .You mmight have some dificulty if yu had arthritic hands or restricted finger movement. particularly with the tramsmitter unit's linking button It takes a bit of getting used to and the user manual could be more helpful in giving you tips on how to use it. I think a series of exercises might help. e.g. how to use both units to best effrect at a dinner party, party, in a pub, in an echoing room. I have only use the domino as an aid to coversation and not tried any of the other things it comes equipped to do. so can't comment on those The only other criticism I have is the price. It could be considerably reduced by packagieing it less luxiously. At it is it is packaged rather like the a luxury product than a functional aid. It guaranteed for two years. and I will be using it fairly constantly. I shall keep my Sonedo as a back up.

Just what I wanted. I can listen to the TV and hear the phone whilst on loop.
