This extra-loud telephone ring alerter, with flashing strobe light, is suitable for people with up to profound deafness. Missed phone calls will be a thing of the past. It’s battery-operated and easy to install and use, with volume and tone controls, and a low-battery indicator.
Missing phone calls can be a real problem for people who are deaf or have hearing loss. The extra-loud Amplicall 10 telephone ring amplifier is a great solution for anyone with up to profound deafness.
The Amplicall 10 is easy to install and use. Simply insert the four AAA batteries (supplied). Unplug the telephone cord from your phone (leaving it plugged into the wall socket), and plug it into one telephone socket on the Amplicall 10. Then, using the other socket, connect the Amplicall 10 to your phone with the telephone cord supplied.
When you receive a call, you’ll hear the extra-loud ringer (up to 95dB) and the strobe light will flash continuously until you answer the call or the caller stops ringing.
You can adjust the sound to suit your hearing needs using the three-setting volume and tone controls. You can also move freely around your home, as this powerful telephone alerter can be heard at up to 25m away.
If you live in a large house, you can easily extend the operating range by linking two Amplicall 10 alerters together (you must buy the second one separately).
If you’re worried about missing calls at night because you’re a heavy sleeper, you can adapt the Amplicall 10 so that it shakes and flashes, by adding the CLA2 shaker pad (not supplied).
