      FireHawk fire alarm systems

Each FireHawk safety alarm (below) can be used by hearing people as a stand-alone alarm, or can be combined with the FireHawk control unit with strobe and vibrating pad (available separately) to create a deaf-friendly system that’s suitable for people with all levels of hearing loss. The vibrating pad goes under the pillow to wake you at night, and a bright flashing strobe light alerts you during the day.

The FireHawk carbon monoxide alarm is ideal for home or away. Its compact size takes up little room in a suitcase but will give your clients, patients or customers invaluable protection from this colourless, odourless gas, caused by faulty heating and cooking appliances, wherever they are.

The FireHawk wireless interlink heat alarm is suitable for kitchens, boiler rooms, workshops and garages. In these areas of the house, steam, cooking fumes, dirt and dust contaminate smoke alarms and can cause nuisance alarms and in some cases fail to detect a fire early.

The FireHawk wireless smoke alarm offers fast detection of smouldering fires. It’s therefore best suited for rooms containing furniture, bedding and clothes, such as bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and landings.

Each of the above alarms can be interlinked to a network of heat, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to provide wide coverage and protection of your home. For example, you could use a carbon monoxide alarm near a boiler, heat detector in the kitchen and smoke detectors in the living room, hallway, landing and bedrooms. This means that in a network of alarms, when one goes off they all go off. Up to 14 smoke alarms, or a combination of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms, work with the system.

Please note: FireHawk alarms are not designed to communicate with wireless alarms from other ranges or manufacturers.
