Do you wear a hearing aid supplied by the Heartlands, Good Hope or Solihull Hospital?
Come along to our FREE drop-in hearing aid clinics run by the charity Action on Hearing Loss, working in partnership with the Heart of England Trust.
Our service helps by:
- supplying and fitting new batteries
- fitting new tubing and other maintenance work
- giving advice on how to use and maintain hearing aids
- giving information on hearing loss and the services and equipment that can help you.
Please note we are unable to carry out hearing tests, replace or tune hearings aids or adjust moulds.
Drop in to one of our sessions in Birmingham – no appointment necessary.

Have you got what it takes?
Are you deaf or hard of hearing? Do you have friends, work colleagues or family members who are? Can you spare some time to help someone make the most of their hearing aids and manage their hearing loss effectively?
Action on Hearing Loss provides a Hear to Help service working in partnership with the Heart of England Trust. Our Hear to Help volunteers help people with maintenance on their hearing aid and giving advice and support on using them.
We are looking for volunteers to help us provide this service. Can you help us by giving a few hours a week? If the answer is yes, we’ll give you full training and pay your travel and subsistence expenses. You will also be fully supported by your local coordinator.
Please contact the volunteering team on: volunteering@hearingloss.org.uk or 01273 840960.
