Who we are
We are a specialist residential care home in Bath. We can provide short and long-term support to four men and women, aged 18 and over, of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We can support people who are deaf and have a range of support needs including learning disabilities, low emotional confidence and mental ill-health.
We specialise in enabling people to be as independent as possible – according to their abilities. We use a range of communication techniques, person-centred approaches, and promote positive risk-taking in all aspects of our care planning and review process. In this way, we make sure that everyone is fully involved in their own support.
We have substantial experience in supporting people whose previous placements may have broken down due to their complex needs.
What we can offer - how we support you
We can give you a safe and comfortable place to live. Our care home is two houses that have been converted into one large building, offering four single en-suite bedrooms, a communal kitchen/dining room and lounge, downstairs toilet, laundry room and shower room. Our garden is a lovely place in which to relax and socialise – and it has a vegetable patch, flower beds, seating and a table.
We will empower you to do things for yourself, supporting you with all aspects of daily life – from making healthy lifestyle choices and managing your medicines to cooking, budgeting, learning new skills and getting involved in the local community.
