      Action on Hearing Loss is a trusted resource for information about assistive technology and accessibility. By agreeing to receive product emails from us, you’re agreeing that we may process your personal information for the following purposes:

      • We’ll contact you with relevant information, discounts and advice about our products and services.

      • We may perform some administration or archiving of your data. This might include contacting you to ask for more information or to get your opinion on how we’re doing.

      • We’ll store your data for up to a maximum of two years after you last open an email from us.

      • You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and if you no longer wish to hear from us, we’ll keep a record of this to make sure we don’t email you again.

      • We need to pass your information to trusted partner organisations to deliver your emails, and occasionally to carry out analysis so we can more effectively tailor our communications to meet your needs. We will ensure any partner organisations who receive your information will store it securely and only use it for the purposes outlined.

      Volunteer eNewsletter

      We'd like to stay in touch by email to provide you with information on our work helping those confronting deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss and to let you know how you are and can continue to support our life-changing work through volunteering. We use your information to keep a record of your contact details and send you our emails. We’ll occasionally pass your information to selected partner organisations that we use for delivering emails on our behalf, and we will ensure that they keep your information securely and only use it for this purpose.

      If you cease volunteering with us, your information will be destroyed after six years. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe to our emails at any time by contacting volunteering@hearingloss.org.uk

      Biomed Soundbite eNewsletter 

      We’d like to stay in touch with you by email to keep you updated on the research we fund into treatments for hearing loss and tinnitus, and how research is being used to develop treatments and technology to benefit people with hearing loss or tinnitus, through sending you our Soundbite emails. We will use your personal information to send you our Soundbite email each month. We will only pass your information to a selected partner organisation that we use for delivering emails on our behalf, and we will ensure that they keep your information securely and only use it for this purpose. We will store your personal information for as long as you are happy to keep hearing from us, or if you indicate to us that you no longer wish to receive research updates, we will only keep the details we need to make sure we honour your request ongoing.

      You have the right to change your mind at any time about how we communicate with you, and how we use your information, by emailing research@hearingloss.org.uk

      Charity eNewsletter

      At Action on Hearing Loss, we know how important your personal information is to you, and how important it is that we look after it safely. We promise we will only use your personal information in the way you’ve agreed. By agreeing to receive the charity eNewsletter from us today, you agree that we may process your personal information for the following purposes:

      1. We’ll need to pass your personal information to a partner organisation in order to send you our emails. We will ensure they keep your information securely and only use it for the purposes outlined.
