      At Action on Hearing Loss we know how important your data is to you, and how important it is that we look after it safely. We’re honoured you have decided to play such a big part in helping us support all of those confronting deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss. Since the best way to start any relationship is being upfront and honest, we’d like to do that with you today and tell you exactly how we plan to use and protect your data. This is a responsibility we don’t take lightly. By agreeing to receive fundraising communications from us today, you agree that we may process your personal information for the following purposes:

      • administration and archiving, including contacting you if we require further information
      • to inform our work and communicate more effectively with you
      • we’ll occasionally pass your personal information to selected partner organisations for analysis to better tailor our communications to you and others, for printing and delivery on our behalf, and in order to send you our emails. We will ensure they keep your information securely and only use it for the purposes outlined.
      • to make sure we are legally compliant, we will store your personal information securely for a maximum of 10 years from your last donation, when it will be securely destroyed. If you have not donated and decide you no longer wish to hear from us, we will only keep the details we need to make sure we honour your request ongoing.
