Pollok residents are being invited to find out about the range of support available for people who have hearing loss by attending a charity’s event.
Action on Hearing Loss Scotland’s Hear to Help service is holding a free information event in Pollok Civic Realm from 2pm-5pm on Friday 29th March.
The event will offer people the chance to become fully informed about various services provided by the charity and partner organisations including Fire and Rescue Service, Glasgow’s Golden Generation, Deafblind Scotland and Drink Wise, Age Well.
People attending can get their NHS hearing aids maintained, find out about assistive equipment for their home and information on hearing loss.
Action on Hearing Loss Scotland’s Thomas Denholm said: “We’d be delighted to welcome local people to our information event in Pollok where they can get detailed information and ask questions about hearing loss, hearing aids, assistive technology, communication tips or other types of support which can help in their everyday lives.”
An electronic note-taker and refreshments will be available. For details, call telephone: 0141 341 5358, text: 07391 868303 or email: email@example.com.
