Why fundraise for us?
Through fundraising you can help reduce the isolation people with hearing loss often experience. In Scotland we provide services, information, campaign and raise awareness to support people with hearing loss.
Events and Challenges
Walking, running, cycling, swimming or even a skydive, there are plenty of events across Scotland to choose from. Whether it’s a 5K, 10K, a Kiltwalk, or even Edinburgh Marathon Festival, there’s an event for everyone.
Held in October each year our annual Ladies Lunch is a chance to enjoy an afternoon of fun and fundraising. This year’s event will be held at the Radisson Blu, Glasgow, on Sunday 21 October.
If you’re looking to raise awareness in your own community you could organise your own event. It could be a quiz night, raffle, or even a bake sale. If you are looking for more ideas, have a look at our fundraising toolkits.
We’re excited to announce Savoo Search, Save and Raise as our new fundraising partner, and we’d like to introduce you to this innovative way of donating. Simply use Savoo Search as your default search engine (the same way as you would your current search engine) and Savoo will donate 1p for every search.
If you’re looking to do some online shopping and want to get a great deal, Savoo has thousands of voucher codes and deals that will help you save money & they will donate to Action on Hearing Loss at the same time. Find out more here.
Whatever the size of your organisation or the level of commitment you can give, we can work together and make a difference. We would be happy to come into your workplace and provide information, deaf awareness sessions and hearing checks.
Become a Fundraising Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to have fun while giving back. Join us on a collection day, help cheer on our fantastic runners, or organise your own event.
We’re on hand to offer advice, support and fundraising materials. If you want to find out more about organising your own event and how to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
