      Do you have questions about hearing loss, deafness and tinnitus? Or maybe you are organising an event in Northern Ireland? We can provide you with expert information and help signpost you to local services by phone, email or in person.

      We can attend events with our information stand, give talks to groups and demonstrate equipment.

      In Northern Ireland, we have a range of information services to help you, your family, friends and colleagues, with issues around deafness, hearing loss or tinnitus.

      Information Service

      Our dedicated Information Team provides free, confidential and impartial information on how the ear works, assistive technology (from hearing aids to hearing loops), communication services, your rights, how to navigate health and social care services and other sources of support.

      We provide as much information as you want, in a way that suits you – by telephone, textphone, fax, email, letter or face to face – and via up-to-date, accredited leaflets and factsheets.

      Information Outreach Service

      We can take our information resources out and about, by:

      • delivering a tailored presentation on our services
      • providing information stands for any events you are hosting
      • carrying out hearing checks for your staff, customers, or members
      • helping you improve your accessibility and understanding of deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus.

      Products and equipment

      Our Information Service also offers a range of specialist products and equipment to make your daily life easier, such as:

      • personal listening devices
      • amplified telephones
      • alerting devices
      • loop systems

      A CAB advisor is available at Harvester House, every Thursday, from 10am-12pm. This is a drop-in service and a British Sign Language interpreter is available.
