      Spring into volunteering!

      08 April 2019

Action on Hearing Loss Northern Ireland is urging anyone who can spare a minimum of two hours per month to #SpringIntoVolunteering and support people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus in their local area.

The charity is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can help run busy information stands, deliver talks to community groups or provide hearing aid maintenance at a local support session (training will be provided).

Nan Carville, who has volunteered with the charity for more than 10 years, said: "Volunteering gives me a lot of satisfaction. I’ve met lovely people and being with Action on Hearing Loss has opened many doors. I find that with a hearing loss, I can empathise with other people in a similar position and I am able to assist people."
