Challenge yourself

There are loads of fun and active ways in which you can support our vital work. We have places in a number of different active challenges, so whether your passion is for running, cycling, swimming or trekking we have something for you,see our running and sports events below.

Why fundraise for us?

As a charity we have been providing support in Northern Ireland for over 25 years and we rely on public donations to fund those vital services. We support people who are deaf, have a hearing loss and/or tinnitus. We enable them to take control of their lives and remove the barriers in their way. We give people support and care, develop technology and treatments, and campaign for equality.

Could you nominate us at your workplace or local community group?

Does your workplace choose a charity to support every year, or your local sports club, church or school?
We are calling on all of our supporters to put Action on Hearing Loss forward.
With so many worthwhile causes across Northern Ireland, and despite the devastating impact hearing loss or
tinnitus can have unfortunately we aren’t always top of the list and we really need your support.

We have many ways for your workplace/sports club to get involved, for example taking part in our events,
volunteering with us etc. We can also come and carry out hearing checks, deliver deaf awareness training
and much much more.

Country Fundraising Manager Sharon Craig says

“We spend around £1million in Northern Ireland supporting local people.
These include some of most vulnerable and isolated people in our local communities.

We have a very small fundraising team working hard to ensure we can keep
our services open but we cannot do this alone. Please nominate us today”

We can easily provide more information on who we are and what we do for you to pass on on our behalf
so please get in touch.
