Roger joined Action on Hearing Loss in 2009 and is currently responsible for the organisation’s evidence base, its policy positions and influencing strategy.
Roger has worked in social research and policy for 16 years. In his former role, he was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he worked on a number of projects across central government. He was previously Research Fellow at the Social Market Foundation and, prior to this, Senior Social Affairs analyst at BBC News where he worked on education, health and social policy.
Roger has a master’s degree in government from the London School of Economics and a PhD from the University of Birmingham in political science, where he also taught.
