How can your business benefit from offering hearing checks?

Hearing loss can have a profound effect on a person's life, yet we know that it takes most people about 10 years to take action on their hearing loss.

In this time they may find it difficult to communicate in the workplace and social situations. As a result, some people end up dropping out of employment and become isolated from colleagues, family and friends. Addressing hearing loss early on helps ensure it does not have this impact on a person's life.

Many of your employees will have worried about their hearing health at some point, but will not have been given the option of checking their hearing. Our Hearing Check is designed to help identify people who have hearing loss and encourage them to take action.

The Check takes about 5 minutes and will tell you if your hearing is within the normal range straight away.

We can give you our hearing check as it is, or add your corporate brand. It can exist as a URL or sit on your intranet. We can also provide a one-off visit to raise awareness of hearing health with your employees.

The important part is that once an employee takes the hearing check and gets their result, they can be referred to us so that we can guide them through their next steps. From helping ensure those with good hearing protect themselves for the future, to explaining how to get your hearing loss diagnosed and treated, we give all the advice a person could need.

Please note the Hearing Check is not sufficient for employers who fall under Noise at Work Regulations. It is not a full audiology assessment.
