Our befriending service Hear to Meet is helping to reduce isolation for people with hearing loss.
Hear to Meet gives people with hearing loss the opportunity to meet up over a cup of tea or coffee and exchange experiences and information.
Our Hear to Meet clubs are run by a team of volunteers and are free to attend. It is sometimes possible to arrange transport for people who need it. In some areas, our services also offer a home befriending visit by a volunteer.
Support our Hear to Meet clubs
We currently have Hear to Meet services in Peterborough, Barnet, Isle of Wight, Milton Keynes, North Staffordshire, Wales, Salisbury and Dorset, North of Tyne and we are hoping to set up more services in the near future.
We cannot run the services without volunteers so if you are interested in volunteering for Hear to Meet, we would love to hear from you.
You can also make a donation that could help fund our Hear to Meet services.
