The M6000 has good amplification and a very loud ringer when it’s on full volume. The product works well with hearing aids as it is excellent at reducing interference. This mobile acheived the highest level of performance in reducing interference from hearing aids.
The hands-free function is quite powerful, or you can use the Bluetooth facility and answer calls wirelessly from up to 10m away by using one of our Bluetooth accessories. You can also adjust the tone to suit your particular type of hearing loss.
The Amplicom PowerTel M6000 also has an emergency SOS button on the back. It will text and call up to five people three times or until someone responds.
Some mobiles work better with hearing aids than others. Many mobile phone manufacturers are adopting the American ‘M and T rating scheme’ to explain their mobile’s hearing aid compatibility. The higher the ‘T’ number the better it is likely to work with your hearing aid’s T setting (which cuts out background noise while you’re on the phone). The higher the ‘M’ number the clearer conversations are likely to be when using your hearing aids without the T setting. The best possible score is T4/M4. This mobile has a score of T4/M4.
