      Phone amplifiers

If you have mild hearing loss, you may not need a new phone. A phone amplifier makes your existing phone louder as soon as you pick it up, so you can hear the caller’s voice more clearly.

Many people have hearing loss that changes or gets worse over time, such as age-related hearing loss. This often means that phone conversations slowly become more challenging. An in-line telephone amplifier will put the pleasure back into keeping in touch with friends and family.

When choosing a telephone handset amplifier, look out for volume control, tone control or 'boost' features, which help by adapting the sound to suit your hearing needs.

The Sarabec Phoneplus phone amplifier increases the phone handset volume by up to 40dB. You can adjust the tone to suit you hearing loss, so you’ll never miss another word when chatting on the phone. Plus, it’s fully portable so you can take it on holiday, making it easier to stay in touch with friends and family while you’re away. With the neckloop accessory (available to purchase separately) you can listen to calls through your hearing aids on the loop or ‘T’ setting.

The Plantronics Vista phone amplifier is ideal for using at home or in the office with your existing phone. It's popular in the workplace as it has a headset socket, so that you can talk hands-free and type or write at the same time. Our SupraPlus monaural headset and SupraPlus Binaural headset are both compatible.

Telephone amplifiers can be used by everyone in the house, by turning the volume up or down. Check out our range below.

Please note: Phone amplifiers work with corded phones but cannot be plugged into cordless phones, mobile phones or phones with numbers on the handset.
