A telephone amplifier like the PhonePlus is useful if your current phone isn’t loud enough but you like everything else about it and don’t want to buy a new phone. It plugs into your existing phone and amplifies the sound for you.
Adjust the sound to suit your hearing loss
The PhonePlus has the joint strongest amplification in our telephone amplifier range. It increases your telephone's volume by up to 40dB. You can even change the tone of the sound so you can tailor the settings to suit you hearing loss.
Other people can use the phone freely too, as they can simply turn the volume up or down to suit their hearing needs too.
You’re not restricted to your home
The handy thing about telephone amplifiers is that you can actually take them with you when you’re travelling. They’re small and easy to fit so you won’t be restricted to calling from your home phone.
Simple to set up in seconds
It fits between the handset and base unit of your corded telephone (it doesn't work with cordless phones or Binatone phones). So, the curly cable plugs into the PhonePlus and the PhonePlus plugs into where the curly cable used to go. Simple!
A helpful tip…
If you’re getting interference from your hearing aid when you are on the phone you may find the neckloop accessory very useful. This is because interference is generally caused by the closeness of the telephone receiver to your hearing aid. But, when you use a neckloop you can hold the handset further away from your ear as the sound is sent straight to your hearing aid via the neckloop.
