my mother has two digital hearind aids, neither of which have a 't' position, but she can hardly hear the TV unless it is very loud. Will this product help? She can just manage to use one of the amplified phones that you recommend.

In order to use the loop system your hearing aids will require the T or loop setting.

Is this (or any other similar product) able to accept an HD lead input? My current system uses a scart input/output but that negates the benefit of the HD system.

At the moment all of our units can either be connected up via the scart socket or phono leads connected to the audio output sockets of the television set.

1. Will this product allow me to mute the TV and allow me to continue listening in T mode without others being able to hear the TV?2. Are any microphones supplied with it, if not can they be purchased - so that my wife could "interject" whilst I

This will depend on how the unit has been set up. If you intend to use the scart plug connection then this will allow other people in the room to listen to the TV set at the same time as you without the sound being cut off. Using the scart connection, if you lower the volume of the TV the loop volume heard will not be affected. By using the headphone socket connection will cut the sound off for others in the room. A microphone is supplied with the product and additional microphone can be purchased.

The Force has a member of staff in our control room that has recently been issued with two hearing aids (both with T position). Unfortunately he is finding it increasingly uncomfortable to wear his headset and the hearing aids as the same time. The Force

Hopefully the L337 loopsystem will be most suited for your needs. The microphone setting can be turned off if not required but it is useful as a direct source if the hearing aid user is listening to a alternative supply (ie television set) at the same time.

My mother is hard of hearing but does not need a hearing aid. She needs to turn up the volume of her TV quite loud to hear it. Her neighbours complain about the noise. She has been told my friends about a product that can help but knows nothing else. Is t

Maybe the best product for your mother to use would be the Infralight stethoset(code no L361), this unit is designed for people without the use of hearing aids. It comes with a clip on microphone that is attached to the speaker of the television set and by wearing the stethoset you can adjust the volume level you require without affecting the volume level for anyone else in the room. Tv amplification is good but when ipod used to input music signal, more amplification is needed.

The loop system is brilliant - it's a pleasure to hear the TV sound so clearly.

Good, powerful, good sound quality. It looks modern so does not look out of place alongside my DVD, Digibox etc. A small criticism - the on/off light is very bright so have to face it away or it's too distracting.
