On Tuesday 30 August, Action on Hearing Loss Scotland and The Body Shop teamed up to host a fundraising evening raising £200 to help those who are deaf or have a hearing loss. The event took place in The Body Shop on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
The store was turned into a huge make up bag for the evening, as those taking part bought tickets and received a glass of wine on arrival (optional!), makeovers, hand and arm cleanse, a massage, nibbles and a discount on products!
Due to the success of the event, Action on Hearing Loss Scotland and The Body Shop are planing to host another fundraiser in the run up to Christmas. Keep an eye on the Scotland event listings for confirmation!
