If you have tinnitus, are hard of hearing or deaf, and would like to know more about how you keep yourself healthy and safe, then why not come along to our health fair Saturday 11 February 2011 from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Wellington Park Hotel, 21 Malone Road, Belfast, BT9 6RU.

To promote Tinnitus Awareness Week (6 to 12 February) Action on Hearing Loss’ Employment Learning Well-being Services are hosting an open day where a range of organisations will be available to provide:

• advice and information about tinnitus
• hearing checks 
• equipment demonstrations
• checks on back and posture
• blood pressure
• cholesterol and BMI along with mini tasters of complementary therapies
• home safety, access to benefit
• exercise to keep yourself fit

This health fair is a follow-up to a successful event we organised last May in Cookstown. A visitor said: “Brilliant, unbelievable. I enjoyed every minutes, much better than sitting at conference on health issues. Big thanks to hard working Action on Hearing Loss. Most important: information for deaf people also more one to one than with other organisations”.
