      Community and day service

Our specialist services are for men and women, over the age of 18, who are deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss with additional, and sometimes complex, support needs. These include learning and physical disabilities, mental ill-health, autistic-spectrum disorders, emotional low confidence, increased needs due to age or changes in personal circumstances, and behaviour that could be described as 'challenging'.

Our community services teams support people in their own homes and local communities. The amount and type of support depends on what the person wants and needs but can include support with daily living skills, getting out and about and helping with personal care needs, whilst our Day Services offer a range of activities to suit everyone.

In this section you can find out more about each type of service and where we offer these.
