      51 Newbridge Hill, Bath BA1 3PR

We are a specialist residential care home, without nursing, in Bath which provides 24-hour support to men and women who are deaf and with additional needs.

      Who we are

We are a specialist residential care home, without nursing, in Bath. We can provide 24-hour support to five men and women over the age of 18. The people we support are deaf with additional complex needs, including learning disabilities. We have particular experience in supporting people whose previous placements may have broken down due to their complex needs.

We specialise in enabling people to be as independent as possible – according to their abilities. We use a range of communication techniques, person-centred approaches and positive risk-taking in all aspects of our care planning and review process. In this way, we can make sure that everyone is fully involved in their own support.

What we can offer – how we support you

We can give you a safe and comfortable place to live. Our home is set in a large Victorian house with five bedrooms, a large living-room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two showers, three toilets and a laundry room. We also have a beautiful south-facing garden and off-street parking. We share our home with two cats!

We can offer you a home for a short time or for longer - it all depends on what you need. Many of the people we support want to develop their skills so that they can live more independently in the future. But, if you don’t feel able to live on your own, then we can focus on making sure you have the skills to be as independent as you can be, and that you are fully involved in your local community and other activities.
