Who we are
We are a residential care home, without nursing, in Bath. We provide short and long-term care and support to eight men and women, aged 18 and over, of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The people who live here are deaf and have a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, low emotional confidence and mental ill-health.
Through intensive, specialist support, we help people who already have some independence to take on new challenges and opportunities. In the future, we want them to be able to live more independently, in their own communities.
What we can offer - how we support you
We can give you a safe and comfortable place to live. Our care home has eight bedrooms: four have en-suite facilities and the others have access to a bathroom, shower room and toilets. We have a large, shared kitchen and living area and a separate games/meeting room where you can relax and have fun – or have quiet time with family and friends. Every room has specialist equipment to enable people to be as independent as possible: from flashing doorbells to vibrating pillow pads.
We are a creative and flexible team and will do our best to support you to achieve your goals and aspirations. You will be at the centre of your support plan, and will be encouraged and supported to be involved and have your say about how the service is run.
