The Great North Swim is the UK’s biggest swimming event and has recently been voted fifth in the world’s best open water swims.
Taking place in June 2012 and set in the stunning scenery of the Lake District National Park, the swim is one mile in Lake Windermere and last year 9000 swimmers registered to take part.

Swim for us and we will ensure that you have an experience you'll never forget. You will benefit from our excellent support package, which includes:

We ask all our swimmers to pledge to raise £165 and pay a registration fee of £35. Don't panic if you've never raised sponsorship before – we'll help you every step of the way and share tips, ideas and the expertise of our fellow fundraisers.
