David Steadman is our Executive Director responsible for fundraising and awareness. He has a first degree in Physics from Oxford University and an MBA from Cranfield, and started his career in the technology industry before moving to the charity sector in 2001. In his charity career David has led teams at The Prince's Trust, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and the children’s charity Coram, before joining Action on Hearing Loss in 2014.
David is one of the founders of a new Free School in Barnet, and has personal experience of hearing loss and tinnitus through his family. He's currently leading on initiatives to find a cure for hearing loss and tinnitus within a generation and to change public attitudes.
