Congratulations to everyone who completed the 8 week Employability Programme!

This course was an opportunity to develop skills including CV building, applying for jobs, work placement, interview and presentations. It also offered two accredited training courses, Level 2 Basic Life Support & AED and Level 2 World Host.

Stephanie O’Kane, Training & Employment Advisor, said: “It was a pleasure working with the group and we are confident that each person will go on to achieve their personal goals.”

Agnes Gutai, Service User, said: “I have learned so much during this Employment programme. It was lovely meeting new people and I have developed so many new skills. A brilliant programme!’

Kevin Blair who participated in the training said: “The course has been worth it alone for the CV building. Mine was very out of date and I’ve had help to update it. I didn’t realise all the details that are needed but the staff helped me develop mine.”

Michael Mulvenna, Employment Team Leader, said: “This is the third Employability programme and it’s great to see so many successful outcomes with 28 people who successfully gain employment. It’s a great result for the people we support to take part in training and one to one support with employment advisers. We are thankful for the ESF, DfE and DfC for making this funding possible.”
