The money we raise in Northern Ireland is used to support our services which make a real difference to people who are deaf or have a hearing loss.
Every year our team in Northern Ireland fundraises with a number of sources, including:
- charitable trusts and foundations
- companies
- community fundraising
- events
- individuals
- european, government and lottery sources
- legacy donations
Support our skydivers!
We're curently looking for people to take part in a charity skydive. If you've ever wanted to experience the thrill of jumping out of a plane and raising money for a fantastic cause, why not sign up or read about how you can support participants?
How to get involved?
We rely on public donations to support our vital services. There are a number of ways to support us such as:
- become a fundraising volunteer
- join our Belfast Volunteer fundraising group
- take part in Northern Ireland events or our overseas events
- spread the word about our work in your workplace, local group or church
- select us as your Charity of the Year
- leave us a legacy
Why get involved?
Our aim is to continue to raise money to support services that will benefit people who are deaf or have a hearing loss, but we need your help.
Maria's story
"I really enjoyed taking part in the event. As a volunteer, I know firsthand what a difference it can make. I raised £202 for Action on Hearing Loss and found the experience uplifting and fulfilling".
Maria Young, Action on Hearing Loss Volunteer and Belfast Marathon participant 2010
