Welcome to Action on Hearing Loss Northern Ireland

Please install the Flash Plugin There are almost 300,000 people in Northern Ireland who are deaf or have a hearing loss. Together with our staff and volunteers, you can help to make a difference to their lives.

We’ve been developing projects to help people who are deaf or have a hearing loss access services, receive equipment and care and support since 1991.

There are lots of great ways to get involved – we’ve got some exciting fundraising events and engaging campaigns! However you want to help we’d love to hear from you!

Campaigns

We're campaigning for change for people who are deaf or have a hearing loss in improved access to GP services, an increase in the number of communication professionals and the development of a tinnitus service.

Volunteering in Northern Ireland

Volunteer to support and inform people who are deaf or have a hearing loss through outreach sessions, promoting hearing checks and befriending activities. Full training, support and travel expenses are available.
